Recruitment video production for graduates and trainees

We have been working with Edmundson Electrical for some time to produce recruiting videos to engage their target candidates and attract top talent for open positions. We recently spent a few days on the road with them filming brand new content to refresh their recruitment films.

The company often recruits more than 100 graduates and trainees per year. Therefore, to attract the best candidates and showcase the opportunities it offers to potential job seekers, it uses high-quality, well-produced video content Do This. As their trusted media partner and supplier, Picture Lock Films has been commissioned to produce a number of important films to promote their business present both online and on social media platforms.

Filming took place over a period of three days, starting in central London and ending at one of their trading locations in Bristol. Our filming was a mix of reality footage of current graduates and trainees in their roles, illustrated by master interviews and footage showing the company “at work”.

For filming we used the Sony F5 as our main camera, a motion stabilized Go Pro11, a Sony A7Siii and a DJI Mavic Cine drone, all shot in 4K to achieve the best image quality. Additionally, because the A7S can shoot stills simultaneously with filming, we provided the client with a set of “All Rights” stills for use both in print and online.

After filming, the videos were completed and posted online with our post-production partner True North Post where all media was recorded and backed up and we were given access to fully networked AVID remote editing suites so we could view, record, transcribe and prepare the films for craft editing. The finished films were then delivered to the customer in their preferred technical specification. You can see one of the finished videos below.
